Geometry Dash Cycles

The debut of the gravity-shifting Ball form.

Level Overview

Difficulty: Harder

Stars: 9

Length: Long (approx. 1:30)

Music: Cycles by DJVI

Cycles is the ninth level of Geometry Dash and introduces the Ball form. Unlike the cube, which jumps, the ball switches gravity when the player taps. This means the ball always wants to reach the opposite surface (floor to ceiling or vice versa).

Gameplay Mechanics

The ball form transforms the gameplay into a logic-based timing challenge. You must decide when to switch gravity to avoid spikes on the floor and ceiling. Cycles also features mirror portals and multiple ship segments, making it a high-intensity 9-star level.

Cycles Master Guide

  • Ball Logic: Remember that the ball doesn't jump; it only switches gravity. If you're already on the ceiling, a tap will bring you to the floor.
  • Anticipate Platforms: In ball mode, look ahead to see where the next platform starts. Switching too early can lead to falling into a gap.
  • Ship Stability: Cycles has some of the narrowest ship passages so far. Stay calm and use very short, controlled taps.
